hudson meats promotes grass-fed for a number of reasons - it is significantly lower in total fat and cholesterol than grain-fed beef and free from hormones; it comes from cattle allowed to live their lives as naturally as possible, with plentry of fresh air and sunshine. As a result, grass-fed cattle are healthier and less stressed than feedlot-fed cattle, resulting in higher quality meat. And environmentally, research shows raising cattle on grass reduces or eliminates nearly all environmental problems associated with raising cattle in feedlots.
hudson meats always stocks grass-fed Black Angus beef from either Barrington Tops NSW or Taralga Springs NSW and Cape Grim Beef from Tasmania. Also available on a regular basis are rare breed cattle such as Welsh Black, Belted Galloway and Scottish Highland.
